Halal Love

Halal Love

Allah (SWT) says in the Qur’an :

And among His Signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that ye may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): verily in that are Signs for those who reflect

(Qur'an 30:21)

This beautiful verse explains that "The Creator's perfect wisdom is such that He has not created man in one sex only but in two sexes, which are identical in humanity, which have the same basic formula of their figure and form, but the two have been created with different physical structures, different mental and psychological qualities, and different emotions and desires.

And then there has been created such a wonderful harmony between the two that each is a perfect counterpart of the other.
The physical and psychological demands of the one match squarely with the physical and psychological demands of the other. Moreover, the Wise Creator is continuously creating the members of the two sexes in such a proportion since the dawn of the creation that in no nation and in no region has it ever happened that only boys or only girls may have been born. This is one thing in which human intelligence has absolutely no part to play.

 Love Between Husband and Wife:

"Your wives are a garment for you, and you are a garment for them."

 ( Qur'an 2:187)

This verse is so beautiful :)

In this verse, Allah describes the relationship between a husband and his wife, as that of mutual protection and adornment.

Our clothes adorn us, and protect us.

A husband and wife should love each other, adorn each other, cover up each others faults.
They should not taunt each other, or expose their faults publicly.

They should complement each other and support each other. Not hate each other or spread rumours about each other.

Look at the beauty of Islam, that even marital relationships are Ibaadah.

Allah will reward you for that ! :)

What does Allah say about marriage in the Qur'an?

Another Explanation of the previous verse :

This verse of the Quran reveals the basic purpose and concept of marriage in Islam. Islam enjoins that a wife and husband should have the most intimate and loving relationship. Each should cover, protect, and safeguard the interests of the ...other partner. This profound and revolutionary verse has the following

5 practical implications:

1- The fact that man and woman are considered garments to each other suggests that both have an equal status in sharing the responsibilities of marriage.

2- As the garment covers the body in such a way that there is nothing between the garment and the body, the husband and wife should be so close and intimate to each other that there should be no secrets between them. Both confide fully in each other and share their joys and sorrows without any hesitation.

3- The task of the garment is to protect the body from outside dangers. The husband and wife accordingly protect each other from all external dangers and work together to build a home and a tranquil refuge from the harshness of daily life.

4- A garment not only covers the body but also gives it beauty and grace. Similarly, husband and wife should not only cover and shield each other from external worries, temptations, abuses....etc., but should do so with grace and dignity.

5- No one likes to live without clothes, hence men and women should aspire to get married and serve as garments to each other.

ِMay Allah (SWT) reward every Muslim and Muslimah with  Halal love and bless each step in your life Ameen.
